Translation provider continues growth strategy with acquisition and rebrand

A Manchester-based translation and language services provider has completed its latest acquisition and rebrand, as it continues its growth strategy to double its revenue to £11 million over the next five years.

Following the acquisition of Cicero Translations, The Translation People has now fully completed the transition which will see Cicero change its trading name and branding to The Translation People on 1st March 2020, making it the Manchester-headquartered provider’s fifth office within the UK.

To further support its expansion plans, leading translation services provider The Translation People is looking to complete several further acquisitions within the next five years. The Translation People, which has offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and London, targeted Cicero for its established presence in the financial and legal sectors – industries the business has identified as opportunities for growth.

Based in Tunbridge Wells, Cicero’s revenues will contribute 12 per cent to The Translation People’s annual income. Clients that have migrated from Cicero to The Translation People include PZ Cussons and Rentokil Initial.
