Gail Owen
In September, Gail Owen, Account Manager at Roevin’s Birmingham office, returned home to Wales to compete in the Lake Vyrnwy half marathon. A year ago Gail actively avoided running and would have only just managed to run a mile in 15-30 minutes. Inspired by her brother, who is a fitness trainer, Gail registered for her first organised event at Lake Vyrnwy and completed the course in 2 hours and 18 minutes, raising £75 for Breast Cancer Care.

Gail commented “I was convinced that all of my energetic friends who raved about running were slightly mad; however the day after completing the course I was on the internet searching for future events and couldn’t wait to get back on the road again. I too, am now addicted to running.”
Gail’s ultimate goal is to run a full marathon. The whole team wishes Gail all the best with her ambition!
