Congratulations to Sam Bennett on her recent promotion to Branch Manager from Office Manager. Sam Bennett has been working in the translation business since 1998, firstly for ALPNET as a Translation Coordinator, and, since 2001, for Roevin.
A graduate of the University of St Andrews with an MA (Hons) in Modern Languages (with distinction in Spoken French), Sam speaks fluent French and Spanish as well as some Italian learned at evening classes.
The Glasgow team, led by Sam, handled a 22% increase in business last year and so far 2006 is proving equally successful with the branch having had their busiest month ever in March 2006. Roevin’s Glasgow office client base is made up of companies from all sectors, but the team has particular expertise in handling translation projects from the banking and finance sector.
Sam has a keen interest in golf although considering she spent several years in St Andrews as part of her University degree, her interest did not surface until relatively recently. After an intensive course of lessons she is currently working on her swing!
